Accenture Removes Performance Reviews
When I wrote about the new strategic plan being no strategic plan, as a way of relinquishing control and becoming attuned to emergent opportunities, I had no idea this was coming. Accenture, one of the world’s largest consulting companies, has decided to do away with performance reviews. Their move has to do with what nature and biomimicry would applaud: tight feedback loops. Accenture has understood the need for more timely feedback, not the delayed annual review that is rarely helpful. Definitely a step in a more effective, adaptive, and flexible direction!
