15 Reasons to get Life Coaching
2024 is an unprecedented year for me in terms of my coaching practice. My coaching clientele has quadrupled. I recently polled some of my clients about my holistic coaching approach, intending to understand what they find most valuable. Here’s what they said:
- Any topic is okay: Clients can bring any topic for discussion. It could be work stress, relationship troubles, childhood pain, and so on. My holistic approach means any and every issue you’re dealing with is welcome.
- Variety of approaches: This is the number one reason clients gave for recommending me as a coach – I use a wide range of approaches and tools.
- It’s safe: Coaching with me is always a safe space. Clients feel safe to share personal feelings and challenges with me. They know that their secrets are safe with me.
- Diverse perspectives: Clients feel they gain different viewpoints through their sessions with me, which help them make decisions and navigate challenges.
- Support: Clients feel supported and nurtured as they do their inner work.
- Habit change: Clients find it useful that they can set goals and track behavior changes with my coaching approach. They can change habits and break out of harmful patterns that hold them back.
- Overcoming Barriers: Clients have overcome barriers such as grief, fear of independence and change, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, anger and self-judgment.
- Affirmations: Clients work with affirmations I suggest, taking the time and consistent effort to change old programming in their subconscious.

- Empowerment: Clients feel empowered through my coaching, feeling more confident to set boundaries and face changes.

- Self-Love: Clients learn to love themselves, and set the bar high in terms of self-respect and self-worth. This transforms how they show up to relationships.
- Self-Care: Clients learn to prioritize self-care in practice, and this helps them with relationships, work-life balance, as well as physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
- Mindfulness: Clients report being better able to understand their thought processes, their feelings, and their self-talk, and change them for more nonjudgmental self-awareness, peace and clarity.
- Life-changing: Some clients have said that my coaching approach has been transformative for them, and changed how they live their lives, especially around self-talk, boundary setting, and managing emotions.
It is humbling to receive all this feedback. These views are an affirmation for me to keep doing what I do, keep learning, listening and loving.
