21 Signs You Might Need a Coach: Is This You?
I’ve been reflecting on the common themes and patterns that my clients exhibit. Confidence is a definite issue; anxiety is another. Trauma is at the root of it all. As the holiday season continues, trauma can rear its ugly head in family situations, and in other aspects of life.
There are two ways of thinking about whether you need a coach. One way is to become aware of the patterns you find yourself repeating. A second is to think about where you want to be going and how to get there, which is a goal-setting exercise we could engage in together.
Here’s a partial checklist that will tell you if you are right for Alchemus Prime’s Lasting Transformation coaching system:
- You’re qualified and intelligent but lack confidence
- You feel emotionally blocked or anxious
- You’re unable to let go of the past
- You find it hard to relax or sleep
- You’re frustrated with poor work results but don’t want to take a risk
- You long for a more fulfilling career
- Your romantic life is the same drama, different person
- You think you’re following your intuition but it’s a trauma pattern
- You see many obstacles but not a lot of opportunities
- You know what to do but can’t seem to get started
- You want to change your negative eating or other habits
- You’re struggling to forgive yourself for something you did or didn’t do
- You’re angry every day
- You need support as you grieve
- You have difficult relationships with your parents or relatives
- You are battling loneliness
- You’ve overcome addiction but are afraid to fall back into it
- You get triggered by the holidays
- You’re in a major life event: move, death, breakup, layoff, or illness
- You feel lost about who you really are or what you want in life
- You overthink or have racing thoughts on a daily basis
Notice that all of these have to do with being your authentic self in any situation: whether alone, in a romantic relationship, or at work. If any of these items is true for you, let’s talk.
