Google Trends: Climate Awareness
Google Trends has produced this nifty tool which tells you how much interest the public is showing in climate change (and other issues, including health, gender, and more) around the world. The U.S. isn’t doing great on climate change, but 4 of the top 5 are Pacific Island Nations, including my homeland, Fiji. These small nations are the most vulnerable to climate change impacts, and have the smallest carbon footprints. A classic case of NIMBY (not in my backyard)…come on, fellow Americans, let’s show that we care about the most vulnerable – it’s human nature!
