Solar for 2M Poor Peruvians
The Peruvian National Photovoltaic Household Electrification Program is working to provide solar photovoltaics to over 2 million citizens by 2016. At a cost of $200 million, the project would cover 500,000 households, which is about 95% of the nation. This project is part of an overall move by Peru to create a renewable energy ecosystem. Bravo!
